Gin Blossoms & Sister Hazel are performing at the Tampa Aquarium Friday @ 7pm. Enjoy endless brews as you take in amazing undersea views, ending the evening with a concert starring these GRAMMY®-nominated rock bands. Tickets are $125 GA and can be purchased at www.flaquarium.org
SMITHSONIAN MAGAZINE MUSEUM DAY
Entrance will be free to visit any participating museum this Saturday. The Tampa Bay History Museum, The Ybor City Museum & The Henry B Plant Museum are included as well as numerous others throughout the bay area. Entrance is free but you have to have a ticket for each museum which can be obtained at www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday
HEIGHTS COMMUNITY GARDEN TOUR
If you have any interest in community gardening in the Heights, check out this “open house” style tour on Saturday @ 1:30pm. The tour will shows two different types of gardens-a communal garden and one with individual boxes. Happening at the Tampa Heights Community Garden – 605 E Frances Ave, Tampa, FL
DOWNTOWN TAMPA WALKING TOUR
Join the Tampa Bay History Center for a guided tour of some of Tampa’s most historic sites and neighborhoods. Each 90-minute walk is led by a History Center-trained docent and limited to just 25 people to ensure an intimate and informative experience. Participants will walk a total of approximately one mile along public sidewalks and brick streets. Happening 10am on Saturday morning.
