A REALLY COOL SHOW
The bands Slightly Stoopid and Sublime are playing at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on Saturday @ 5pm. Both bands are legendary in fusing rock, reggae & hip hop to create an upbeat urban style of music that is both danceable and enjoyable. Slightly Stoopid has released 13 albums of which 4 of them are live recordings, indicative of their phenomenal stage presence. While there isn’t much happening in town this weekend, this performance should not be missed!
TAMPA BAY THEATRE FESTIVAL
Tampa Bay Theatre Festival, happening this weekend at the Straz Performing Arts Center, is an amazing weekend of education and entertainment to unite artists and theatre lovers to experience powerful, informative workshops led by trained professionals, scene, monologue, and short play competitions and theatrical entertainment. DISNEY 2000s DANCE PARTY
Not really sure what this is about, but… Come out to The Orpheum on September 1st to hear all your favorite bops and deep cuts from artists like Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Britney Spears, NSYNC, Jonas Brothers, Lemonade Mouth, SCLUB 7, and more! This is another event produced by Le Petite Fete who specialize in organizing “Pop Culture Obsessed Dance Parties”.
