BEER, BOURBON & BBQ FESTIVAL

The 9th annual Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival is this Saturday at Curtis Hixon Park. The event features a great day of beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’, music listenin’, cigar smokin’, and barbeque eatin’. Your admission buys you a sampling glass so you can enjoy an ALL-YOU-CARE-TO-TASTE sampling of beer and bourbon.

The BBQ aspect will have “sessions” of whole hog BBQ served to guests, other buy as you go meal s will be available. You will find a huge number of vendors, games and other entertainment as well as live music on the main stage. Enjoy seminars in the Tasting Theater with Master Distillers, Brewmasters, and Pit Masters from the deep South. Doors open at 12pm & tickets are available at the door.

EAST-WEST MUSIC & DANCE FESTIVAL

The 3rd Annual East-West Music & Dance Festival is happening Saturday at Water Works Park from 1-7pm. The event will bring eastern and western artists from the Tampa Bay community and beyond together for a one-of-a-kind event to showcase the talents of musicians and dance performers. The festival will feature both small and large group performances. Highlighting the festival will be performances from authentic African musicians, vibrant drummers, colorful Indian dancers, sensual Flamenco performers, and many more. This all-day family-friendly event will also feature multicultural activities, food vendors, and a kid’s play area.

RIVERWALK WALKING TOUR

Join Center for Architecture & Design Tampa Bay president Rachel Radawec for a walking tour of Downtown Tampa via the Riverwalk! Tour attendees will learn all about Armature Works, Water Works Park, the Straz Center Master Plan, University of Tampa, and many other iconic Downtown Tampa fixtures.
