CORNER CLUB 3rd ANNIVERSARY
3 years ago Jeni Armstrong bought and renovated a little cute corner bistro on 15th St & Sligh called the Corner Club. Since that time she has become a part of the fabric of the NorthEast Heights community. They also serve the community by offering morning coffee & pastries & a great brunch menu & the occasional jazz nights, karaoke, community market. Stop by Saturday to celebrate their 3rd anniversary, check out the Suwannee Marching Band & enjoy some slow BBQ ribs! The Corner Market is happening Sunday featuring many local vendors too!
OSHNA HOME TOUR
The 24th annual Old Seminole Heights Home Tour is Sunday. This is an opportunity to walk, or bike, and view a number of historic/eclectic homes and businesses in the Northeast corner of the neighborhood. Come learn about the history of our community including a prominent tourist destination and some notorious neighbors among other interesting facts. Some of the proceeds are in support of Seminole Heights Tribe. Tickets and 1st stop are located at the American Legion Post 111 north of Florida on Sligh and starts at noon!
TAMPA BAY EMPANADA FESTIVAL
The 2nd Annual Tampa Bay Empanada Festival, taking place on April 6th at Perry Harvey Sr. Park in downtown Tampa from 12pm to 7pm. The event features fusion of music, an array of over 30 vendors offering mouthwatering empanadas, and even a selection of cocktails and craft beer for the adults to enjoy! $7 adult entry & kids are free!
