Opening in Ybor City in 1995, this establishment has been one of the mainstays for the Tampa live music scene. After the pandemic and losing their Ybor location to the continual redevelopment of that area, New World relocated to 810 E Skagway in Sulphur Springs, just a short Uber to the north of the Heights! Their new home is bigger and offers great food & 2 stages featuring the top line entertainment we have come to expect.

 

This weekend’s celebrations starts out Friday with DJ Gabe Echazabal and Fast Fashion – The Depeche Mode Experience. The Saturday line up are local acts Lauris Vidal, Jeff Brawer, Greg Milo & SG Wood and features a high energy Allman Brothers review Steeln’ Peaches! Sunday will start off with americana artist Jamie Thomas & feature Frankie Rose & Romeo Blu! 

 

 

 

Festa Italiana is hosting Bocci & Bellinis on Saturday at Centennial Park. This event honors Italian culture and heritage by showcasing the Italian culture, traditions, and heritage. The Mercado Italiano is on Saturday from 12-6pm at the Italian Club where you can get authentic product samplings and goods! Winefest of Italy is on Sunday from 1pm to 4:30pm at The Italian Club of Tampa. Guests will sample over 100 wines from Italy, taste delicious cuisine from Tampa Bay’s best restaurants and caterers, sip on complimentary craft cocktail samples and frozen bellinis and bid on over 100 featured items at the Silent Auction. Your favorite bottles of wine after sampling will be available for sale. Tickets start at $75 & can be obtained at 

 

 

 

The monthly Live & Local music series occurs this weekend on the river walk stage at the Straz this weekend from 6-9pm.  Friday’s offering is Fo’i Meleah, known for standout performances in Jobsite Theater’s LIZZIE and the Straz Center’s recent productions of AVENUE Q and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Saturday’s performance features local native Danielle Mohr, an acoustic guitarist, vocalist, and soul-pop singer/songwriter who is quickly gaining traction in the music world.
