It’s 16 degrees in St. Paul but should be warming up into the 30’s by the weekend… So glad to call Tampa home! Well it’s all about the Gasparilla Music Fest this weekend! GASPARILLA MUSIC FESTIVAL
It’s the 11th year for this event featuring three days of national and local music, food & fun on the riverfront at Curtis Hixon Park. The event was created to fund youth music education through the efforts of Recycled Tunes who enrich the lives of underserved and impoverished children in Tampa Bay by ensuring access to musical instruments. If you get a chance to go Sunday, don’t miss our local teen all girl rock star band Boycott who will hit the stage at 1:15pm! Tickets, parking and lineups can be found at GasparillaMusic.com.
GASPARILLA DISTANT CLASSIC
Although registration for this event is over, there will be waves of runners throughout downtown Saturday & Sunday morning and will culminate at the Tampa Convention Center where you can find shoes, apparel and other running and fitness exhibits.
YBOR CITY 75th ANNUAL FIESTA DAY
If you’re looking for an outing with the kids check out the 75th annual Fiesta day on Saturday on 7th Ave. Food, Fun and Entertainment for the entire family!
