After a 4 year hiatus, Kenny Chesney & friends Old Dominion, Carley Pierce & Dan + Shay are returning to Raymond James on Saturday night for the Chillaxification Tour 2022! Tampa is always Chesney’s first concert location on his annual tour schedule and is billed as one of the best tail gate parties in the industry. There are still tickets available from $70-$2,000 on Ticketmaster.com
TAMPA WALLS! MURAL FESTIVAL
Tampa is becoming a part of the Worldwide Walls! mural festival this weekend through May 10th. The event brings national and local favorites to some of the the Heights most popular establishments like Health Mutt, Velvet Gypsy (bye Red Star mural) and Blind Tiger. The festival kicks off this Friday at the Bloom Market 1544 N Franklin.
TAMPA BAY MUSIC AND SEAFOOD FESTIVAL
You’ll find food and drinks, music and live music at the waterfront park. In addition to the freshly prepared seafood, there will be a marketplace showcasing handmade arts and crafts and gourmet food items. One of my favorite bands from the 80’s, Pat Travers is playing the main stage Friday @ 7pm. $5 entry to the public!
ELTON JOHN
Elton John: Farewell Yellow Brick Road… really he means it this time! Happening Saturday at the Amilie Arena, he’s playing all of his “hits” in a 2 hour show. This is actually a make up show from a previously scheduled postponed event, but some tickets are still available. They start around $270 a pop, but they’re on the floor!
